Painted from a doodle created by Joe's wife, Arin- part of that great majority of Americans who, indeed, love pie- on a notebook during a dull class in graduate school. Joe enjoyed it so much he painted it for their kitchen for nominal use as a bread board.

Paintings
The foundation of Joe's work. In painting, Joe discovered the possibilities for visual communication and the greatest historical inspiration. His canvasses are largely earlier works, though he will return from time to time to paint on panels or found surfaces.
