An image conceived in response to a prolonged conversation about marriage. Joe and his wife, Arin developed the symbols and arranged them according to their personal definition, creating a coat of arms of sorts, apparently random at first glance, requiring intimate knowledge of it origins to decipher.

Paintings
The foundation of Joe's work. In painting, Joe discovered the possibilities for visual communication and the greatest historical inspiration. His canvasses are largely earlier works, though he will return from time to time to paint on panels or found surfaces.
