In the early part of the millennium, Joe inherited an emotionally damaged, skinny Black Labrador from his sister. The dog endeared herself thoroughly despite her troubles, and lived happily ever after as only indulged pets will. This was Joe's effort to examine just what might be going on inside her head during the early parts of their relationship.

Paintings
The foundation of Joe's work. In painting, Joe discovered the possibilities for visual communication and the greatest historical inspiration. His canvasses are largely earlier works, though he will return from time to time to paint on panels or found surfaces.
